Joshua Longmore is a DC based video producer and editor with over six years of professional experience working in broadcast and digital video production.

Originally from the UK, he majored in International Relations at the University of Leeds before gaining a master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism. After interning at the BBC World Service and winning the BBC College of Journalism’s Student Innovation Award for a project filmed in Kosovo, he went on to launch a brand new local TV channel dedicated to the UK’s capital city, London.

After cutting his teeth in broadcast news for over a year, he moved into the world of digital, working across The Independent and Evening Standard newspaper titles.

He went on to work for the Mirror Online where he focused on branded video events, such as the newspaper’s live Labour Party leadership debate and Pride of Britain Awards.

After moving to the United States, Josh freelanced in digital video production for titles such as BBC Reel and the MailOnline.

He currently works as a Multimedia Producer for The National, creating original video content focusing on US politics and Middle East news.
